Grand Forks takes great pride in our healthy, shade-giving, and colorful trees. Arbor Day is recognized nationally for one week in May. Celebrate our area’s lovely green diversity in this annual event.

No school? No problem. Bring the kids to ICON Sports Center for an afternoon of indoor skating and a matinee movie.

The ultimate neighborhood block party is for all of Grand Forks and is held each year in late July. This fun-filled event includes family games, healthy treats, a parade, face painting, inflated games and more.

Join us for a snow-filled day of ski-clinics, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, ice skating, horse-drawn sleigh rides, a cardboard sled race and much more!

Have the kids bring home supper, while they learn the basics of lures, casting, cleaning, regulations and other responsible angler information (fish tales optional).

Attention, little princesses! The Grand Forks Park District invites young ladies under the age of 16 and a special escort (i.e. daddy, grandpa, uncle) to attend a Knight for a Princess.

Spend the day bowling with your son! Red Ray Lanes has opened up the alley to allow for you and your special someone to come and create a memory. Bowling is for everyone and what a fun opportunity to come and spend the day learning some bowling techniques and enjoying time with your son!

Santa and his elves have set up a workshop in Grand Forks with two weekends full of holiday activities for kids! Everyone is welcome to meet Santa and his elves while creating crafts, playing games, and listening to holiday music.
