Thank you to the Grand Forks Sam’s Club volunteers for helping our Forestry Department start the ground work for the Miyawaki Forest at Sertoma Park! We greatly appreciate all of your hard work.
Did You Know:
A Miyawaki Forest will grow 10x as fast as a forest planted using conventional methods. It will grow to be 30x denser and provide 20x more biodiversity than a conventionally planted forest.
Congratulations to Liz Mattson from Wy's Floral on winning People's Choice in the First Annual Best In Bloom Floral Competiton! This competition took place last Saturday in partner with the Grand Forks Horticulture Society.
